:ANRA LOWER ENGINE CONTAINMENT (DIAPER) POLICY:
At this time, ANRA does not require diapers other then what is mandated by NHRA, however, ANRA strongly recommends that they be installed on any and all cars that may be entered into any ANRA sanctioned event. During the past two races, we have had a number of unnecessary oils downs. Not only are the cleanups time consuming and costly to ANRA, but it also takes away valuable racing track time; Time that could be better used for running your cars.
I am asking that if 'you' suspect that you may have a problem, no matter how small, please DO NOT come to the staging lanes. If this problem erupts during your run, you are not only putting yourself in danger, but other racers too. I understand that in racing, things happen. No one expects or wants to have a problem. PLEASE help us police this policy. You if see something that might need to be addressed, let us know. Should a problem occur, you could be the 'next car in line' or worse, in the other lane. Lets all be safe. Thank You for your cooperation in this matter.
Butch Headrick, ANRA President

The American Nostalgia Racing Association Inc. is an organization of
racers and enthusiasts dedicated to advancing the sport of nostalgia drag racing. The ANRA Racing Program includes vehicles circa 1979 and
before, designed and built or updated to meet modern safety
specifications. Dragsters are front-motored, as opposed to the modern
rear-engine designs of today. "Nostalgia" vehicles have kept pace with
other motorsports and have broken all records previously established in
the 1960's and 70's.
We are currently a Sportsman
series, catering to racers and their families that run
7.60 and slower ETs. With advanced ET coming soon, We plan to bring
match races and exhibition runs as well, a little something for
everyone. We would
like input from racers and fans. Let us know what you want to see.
